These terms

  1. These terms govern your use of the Blackworld website, the partnership and sales forms, support, and the signed-in desk.
  2. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you use the site for a company, you confirm that you may bind that company.
  3. These terms cover the website and the accounts, cards, and payments used here.

Definitions

  1. “Blackworld”, “we”, and “us” mean Blackworld, at 254 San José Street, San Juan, PR 00901.
  2. “Desk” means the signed-in accounts, cards, payments, exchange, and approvals.
  3. “You” means the person using the site and, where you act for a company, that company.
  4. “Agreement” means the separate contract for a live account, when one is signed.

Who may use the site

  1. The site is for businesses, fintechs, and institutions, and for people those organizations authorize.
  2. You must give an email you are allowed to use, and information you are allowed to share.
  3. We may refuse access where the use does not fit this institution or these terms.

Retail banking

  1. Retail banking ended in October 2025.
  2. This site does not open consumer accounts, personal savings, or personal checking.
  3. A person who is not acting for a business, fintech, or institution should not apply.

Partnership applications

  1. An application asks for the institution, the contact, and the services you want.
  2. Submitting an application does not reserve an account, a card program, or a payment limit.
  3. We may ask for more information, decline the application, or offer an agreement. Approval is in writing.

The desk

  1. The desk is where accounts, cards, transfers, exchange, approvals, and support are used.
  2. Balances, cards, and payments on the desk follow these terms.
  3. A transfer is authorized with the PIN for that account.

Accounts

  1. An account on the desk has a name, a role of administrator or member, balances by currency, and a status of active or inactive.
  2. An inactive account cannot sign in.
  3. An administrator sets roles, status, permission to create accounts, and balance adjustments. A member cannot change those for the desk.

Balances

  1. Each account keeps a balance for each currency the desk supports.
  2. A payment needs a sufficient balance for the amount and the fee shown before you confirm.
  3. A recorded incoming item is credited after the fee shown on that screen.

Payments

  1. Send asks for the holder, the bank, the amount, and the rail details on the screen, including a US routing number or a SWIFT code.
  2. A transfer fee of 1% is taken from the same balance as the payment.
  3. A member whose transfer, including the fee, is above that account’s approval limit waits for an administrator. An administrator may send within the rules of the desk without that wait.
  4. A scheduled payment runs the next time the desk is open on or after the chosen date, and the fee is taken then.

Fees

  1. Foreign exchange on the site uses the ECB reference rate and a fee of 0.5%.
  2. A recorded card deposit shows a fee of 2.5%, taken before the credit.
  3. A transfer shows a fee of 1%.
  4. A live account may carry other fees. Those fees are in the agreement, or in a fee schedule given to you before they apply. We will tell you before a fee on a live account changes.

Cards

  1. A card on the desk belongs to the account that created it.
  2. You may freeze a card. A frozen card remains on the account and cannot be used.
  3. Card programs, spending limits, and physical cards follow the agreement for that account.

Foreign exchange

  1. Rates on the public converter are reference rates. If a live rate request fails, the page uses the rates bundled with the site.
  2. A conversion on the desk uses the rate and the 0.5% fee shown before you confirm.
  3. We do not promise a particular rate until the screen shows the rate you accept.

Security

  1. Sign-in uses the email and password for the account.
  2. Do not share the password, the PIN, a recovery code, or an API key.
  3. Tell us promptly if you believe access has been misused, using the email or the support form on this site.

Administrators and members

  1. An administrator may invite a member and set whether that member may create accounts.
  2. A member sees that member’s account, cards, and approvals. An administrator sees the approvals on the desk.
  3. The desk will not remove the last administrator from that role.

Notices

  1. The desk keeps notices for each account. Unread notices appear at the bell.
  2. Alerts on a device are optional and depend on the permission you give that browser.
  3. A message about these terms goes to the email on the account, or to the email you enter on a form.

API

  1. The documentation describes accounts, cards, payments, and foreign exchange.
  2. An API key issued for the account authorizes the calls described in the documentation.
  3. Keep each key secret. You are responsible for calls made with a key issued to you.

Acceptable use

  1. Do not misuse the site, probe it for a weakness, or attempt to read another institution’s information.
  2. Do not send an application or a support message with information you are not authorized to give.
  3. Do not use the site for fraud, unlawful activity, or to hide the source of funds.

Sanctions, KYC, and AML

  1. A live account requires the identity and ownership checks we ask for.
  2. We may pause a live service to finish those checks or to meet a legal duty.
  3. We do not offer a service where sanctions or another law prohibit it.

Your information

  1. The privacy page describes sign-in, forms, and exchange rates on this site.
  2. A support message is delivered to the contact address published on the site. The email you enter is the address for the reply.
  3. You may ask us to correct contact details you sent by writing to that same address.

Intellectual property

  1. The site, the name Blackworld, and the materials we publish belong to us or are used with permission.
  2. You may not copy the site to run a competing service, or remove the notices on it.
  3. You keep ownership of what you type into a form. You let us use it to reply and to consider an application.

Availability

  1. We work to keep the site available. Maintenance, a network failure, or a dependency we rely on can interrupt it.
  2. The service is SOC 2 Type II, with a 99.99% API uptime target. Maintenance can still interrupt the website.
  3. The public site can change as the service is updated.

Liability

  1. Where the law allows, we are not liable for a decision you take in reliance on a balance, a rate, or a payment shown on the desk.
  2. Where a live agreement applies, liability is the liability that agreement states.
  3. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Suspension and closure

  1. We may suspend access to the site or the desk if these terms are broken, or if we need to protect the service.
  2. You may stop using the site at any time. Sign out on the device you used.
  3. Closing a live account follows the agreement.

Changes

  1. We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the version you are reading.
  2. If you keep using the site after that date changes, you accept the updated terms.
  3. A change to a live agreement is made in the way that agreement describes.

Complaints

  1. Write to blackworld1656749@gmail.com, or use the support form.
  2. Include the institution, the email, and what happened. We aim to answer within one business day.
  3. If you are not satisfied, you may take the matter to the courts named in the next section. A live agreement may add its own process.

Law and disputes

  1. These terms are governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
  2. The courts of Puerto Rico sitting in San Juan may hear a dispute about these terms.
  3. Before you file, write to us and allow 30 days for a reply, unless you need urgent relief from a court.
